Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phil. 4:6-7
“Prayer is the hinge upon which the divine door of Gods activity turns.” - D Bryan
“A man can never be who he truly was intended to be in God until he learns to know and be known in the hour of prayer and intercession.”
-D Bryan
Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.
Meet
Hannah Killingbeck our International Network Prayer Coordinator:
Greetings in Jesus!
I am a senior in high school and the second oldest of eight children. I was
about four years old when God first tugged at my heart. When I was eleven years
old, God called our family to the Ukraine as missionaries. At thirteen I really
began drawing near to the Lord and He began speaking to me in prophetic
ways....and it has progressed since then. He has totally captured my heart. No
one else will do!
God has given me a burning desire to see a revolution in my generation. I know
that transformation first has to begin in my heart. Any type of revolution is
birthed out of personal time spent with Jesus, letting God be Lord of our lives.
Whoever will seek the face of Jesus with all their heart will become a fire and
joy that cannot be contained. This is the light that will shine the brightest
because, " Many shall see it and fear and put their trust in the Lord." Psalms
40:3
I am honored that Bro. David and Sis. Jodie asked me to be a part of the work
God has given them. I have been blessed by their devotion to God and to each
other. I believe that through this experience God will draw me closer to Him and
this will be an entrance into a new door that He has for me for such a time as
this.
As prayer coordinator, I send monthly updates of what God is doing in the
ministry of David Bryan. I forward all prayer requests and testimonies to our
ministry partners. Thank you to all who have joined the prayer team. We have
only seen rain drops of how God is going to answer our prayers if we continue to
press in.
"Be a voice not a echo," struck me one night while I was listening to a message
in church. I don't think I heard any thing more. Conviction penetrated into my
heart. I knew that my walk with God was an echo to this world and not really a
voice. Being a voice for the Kingdom of God, in the spiritual realm, is
sowing in tears, weeping, travailing and fasting before the Lord, not only for
the lost but also for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are on the front
lines facing temptations on every side. It also means speaking boldly for the
Kingdom of God, not just echoing a "Christian" walk. Nothing that is done for
the Lord is done in vain, whether it is behind closed doors or before all men.
God is raising up warriors for his army and you are chosen for "Such a Time As
This."
"If my people, which are called be my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven
forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chr. 7:14
"And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they
that turn many to righteousness even as the stars forever and ever." Dan. 12:3
